To issue targets, you can use the Skymap service, but to connect to it you need to install a special VPN service (for example, ZeroTier)

How the connection works:

  • The ZeroTier VPN network administrator must provide you with a Network ID (e.g., ab000c1def23g4hi) for connection.
  • You provide this Network ID (ab000c1def23g4hi) to the SkyHunter team.
  • The SkyHunter team connects to the VPN network and provides you with their address (e.g., z987654yx3)
  • You pass this address (z987654yx3) to the ZeroTier VPN network administrator so the administrator can authorize SkyHunter in their system.
  • After authorization, the ZeroTier VPN network administrator provides you with the SkyHunter IP address (e.g., 78.193.54.121). This IP address will be needed later in the settings.

Navigate to the Skymap system using the previously received access credentials.

If you don't have access — contact the Skymap node administrator.

In the IP address field, enter the one you received from the ZeroTier VPN network administrator — 78.193.54.121, and for the port, enter the one received when creating the crew in SkyHunter1142

To verify the integration, assign a track to the new unit. (Military personnel know how to do this.)

By default, the unit is inactive. To activate it, enable the "On Duty" mode.

Creating Targets and Binding to a Unit

Creating targets in SkyHunter through the Skymap service is used for modeling the air situation, training operators, or testing interception algorithms.
In this mode, you can create both friendly and hostile objects and then bind them to a specific unit (crew).

Click on the gear icon, select the Debug menu item. In the opened settings window, you can leave the default parameters. You only need to change the coordinates (paste the ones previously copied from the marker on the map) and specify the number of training targets. Then click Launch.
The system will create air objects at the specified point and add them to the current Skymap session.

Select the aircraft that will be designated as friendly. To do this, click on the corresponding object on the map and press the Friendly button.

In the next step, bind the target to our unit ("Test").

Now we need to designate the hostile aircraft. To do this, click on the selected aircraft and press Hostile.

In the next step, bind the target to our unit ("Test").

If needed, additional targets can be created and bound. This allows modeling complex scenarios.
